Our next Drum Circle is scheduled for Saturday, November 7th, at 6:00 pm at the Sweetwater Organic Community Farm. The location is in the heart of Tampa (Town & Country) with easy access to the interstate. The farm is safe, child friendly, parking is free, restroom facilities nearby, and we will be allowed to drum around the open fire pit, I mean, we can't ask for much more!
PLEASE NOTE EARLIER TIME DUE TO DAY LIGHT SAVINGS TIME CHANGE!!!
Don't miss the DRUM BASICS & BEYOND class taught by Heather it's from 6:00-7:00 pm. Gain confidence while warming up for the main drum circle... Heather has drums that you can use for the class if you don't have your own. Class cost is $10. Main drum circle starts at 7:00 pm.
Our RAIN PLAN Is as follows:
Bring a plastic trash bag large enough for your drum. If it begins to rain, we will dash to the barn where the acoustics are awesome and continue our groove!
Here is a list of things to consider bringing along Saturday night:
* drum or something unique to groove with
* little glowing things to wear (check out the dollar store)
* flashlight (to navigate around the farm)
* folding chair or blanket to sit upon
* a bundle of firewood (not mandatory, but very helpful if you want fire)
* your cooler of water or whatever
* a dish to share (not mandatory, but very welcome)
* a couple of dollars for the "Love Donation" box (located on the food table) to help cover the MEET-UP website maintenance fee and paper products for the food table.
* Please NO SMOKING!
* Sometimes members are moved to take audio/video images or pictures, if you have any concerns about this, please speak to the organizer prior to the circle.

Driving Directions
From I-275, take the airport exit. Continue north past Tampa International Airport on the right, SR 60 exit on the left, and Veteran?s Expressway on the left. Continue north on Eisenhower Blvd to Hillsborough Ave. Turn left (west) onto Hillsborough Ave. Go west on Hillsborough to Hanley (4th traffic light), turn right on Hanley for 1 block, turn right onto W. Comanche. Follow W. Comanche a couple hundred yards? slowly, the pavement ends! Please 'angle-park' in the area on your left. Walk across the new foot bridge over Sweetwater Creek, and turn right into the farm driveway.
Parking
Please follow the directions above and park in the space provided off of Hanley. Car's parked along Comanche will be towed at the owners expense (it's a neighborhood). The parking area inside the gate of the farm is for HANDICAP ONLY. Lately there have been several people parking over there and the handicap people had to park elsewhere! If your gear is too heavy, please bring a wagon or something. Also several people want to drive into the farm to drop off their stuff, this isn't a good idea, there are children and people walking around in the dark carrying their own heavy gear. It is difficult to turn around and get back out once we have the chairs and things set-up especially with all of the people walking in and out. The farm entrance is a walking path, we don't want to groove out the pathway with our vehicles. Please respect this. The back gate will be unlocked you can also park along the fence behind the farm at Mohawk. From Hillsborough Ave. turn north down Sawyer and take the first left onto Mohawk, drive down to the end. do not pull your vehicle through the farm gate please.
We are looking forward to meeting you all and drumming into the night with wild abandonment!
Peace, love, and light,
Sherry, Druid, Mary, Lori & DJ
