- How long have you lived here?
- 35+ years
- What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?
- I'm in Pinellas Park. It chose me. I live 4 minutes away from my office.
- If you were to move to a different neighborhood, what would it be and why?
- I'd move to a Pinellas County beach community or downtown Tampa or downtown St. Petersburg where all the awesomeness is!
- What is your favorite thing about Tampa?
- If you look hard enough, you can find a little bit of everything here, culturally speaking. Plus, it's warmer than New York City, Chicago or Washington D.C. And I'm just not a West Coast person.
- What kinds of things are you involved in?
- Nonprofits/social services, fine and performing arts, small business development and sustainability. Integrated communications and marketing development.
Things I'm getting more involved with: meeting new people, getting involved in community activites, helping to create and experience a stronger, creative community.
- Tell us about what you do.
- I am a grant writer for a large nonprofit and I own a communications consulting/freelance writing company.
Currently serve on the Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless Board of Directors and am the Co-Chair of the Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless/Homeless Leadership Network Communications Committee.
Many other things that the wizard behind the screen knows and the flying monkeys execute with mesmerising skill!
- If you live in Tampa, Why do you stay?
- I stay in the Tampa Bay area because I simply haven't explored everything here yet. There's far too much for me to do that I haven't done. I look forward to being a more active part of the community, helping to strengthen the opportunities and services offered here. Why not stay?
- Where else have you lived?
- A little in Miami, NJ and NY. Great places to visit.
- What kinds of things are you interested in seeing on Brand Tampa?
- Everything!
