If you live in Tampa Bay, Why are you here?

I LOVE this area. Great people, great beaches, great shops and restaurants!

How long have you lived here?

Moved here the week before the Bucs won the Superbowl.

What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?

I'm in Gulfport, and I LOVE it here. There's lots to do, within walking distance: beaches, shops, restaurants, bars, even an arts center!

If you were to move to a different neighborhood, what would it be and why?

There are so many cute neighborhoods in this area! I'm not planning to move, but others I'd consider: Kenwood, Grand Central, downtown St. Pete, any of the Beaches. ... I work in downtown St. Pete, so I'd probably not venture too much farther. But if I work weren't an issue, I'd also look into Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, South Tampa.

What is your favorite thing about Tampa?

Tampa Theatre, and Bern's dessert room!
And I love Ybor, daytime.

What kinds of things are you involved in?

Lots of charity work through my Web site, localshops1.com

We have parties all over town, to help promote independent businesses and to help raise money for charity.

Are you ready for Black Friday?

Remember last year, guy got trampled to death at a Wal-Mart in New York? And just last night, just about an hour south of Tampa, two masked gunmen help shoppers hostage at a TJ Maxx in Venice ... Lots of messed-out people out there, and it seems the craziness gets intensified around the holidays.
