InvisiblePeople.Tv Comes to Tampa Tomorrow August 13, 2009InvisiblePeople.Tv brings a voice to homelessness in the Tampa Bay area on Wednesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 13 as part of a 25 city tour. Using the power of social media, Mark Horvath and his InvisiblePeople.Tv effort provides a voice to America's forgotten nation. In each city he visits, he provides an opportunity for homeless people to tell their stories in an effort to create a better understanding and knowledge about homelessness.
Mark is spending Wednesday in Pinellas County and will be in Tampa on Thursday. He will visit our homeless neighbors during Tampa Family Health Center's mobile medical van's Homeless Awareness event at the Salvation Army, 1514 N. Florida Ave., Tampa from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tentatively he will also be at Mental Health Care, 6220 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa with the medical van in the afternoon.
Stories collected by Mark during his time in the Tampa Bay area will be posted on his vlog, YouTube and Vimeo, and through social networks including Twitter and Facebook. In addition, he will share stories in real-time on Whrrl as he visits.
