If you live in Tampa Bay, Why are you here?

It's "home" to me. I enjoy the fabulous weather, increasing cultural activities and time with family/friends.

How long have you lived here?

Hmmm...27 years or so.

What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?

I live in downtown St. Pete, within walking distance of just about anything...Great restaurants, shops & my favorite haunts. I love the variety of cool places here, abundant waterfront park space and the ongoing cutural events that downtown St. Pete offers.

If you were to move to a different neighborhood, what would it be and why?

I'd choose a condo on the beach or Tierra Verde with a waterfront view. Can you feel the exhale? *smile*

What is your favorite thing about Tampa?

About Tampa bay in general...I like that it's actually getting cooler all the time. This area is really coming "into it's own" and it's really a gorgeous place to live. Within the city of Tampa itself, I adore Tampa Theater.

What kinds of things are you involved in?

I love the arts and support the Dali museum, Studio@620, MFA, etc. I am also involved with the St. Pete Chamber, the Downtown Partnership and other downtown centric networking groups.

Tell us about what you do.

I am the Publication Manager for Discover Downtown Guide and Map, the official publication for the City of St. Petersburg (published in partnership with CJ Publishers). It's an essential publication for promoting St. Petersburg businesses to local residents and tourists, with 1,000,000 publications distributed annually. www.discoverdowntown.com

If you live in Tampa, Why do you stay?

I enjoy the Tampa bay area more and more every year. My dogs like it too. :)

Where else have you lived?

Born in Chicago; lived in Portland, OR for several years during the mid 80's and 90's.

What kinds of things are you interested in seeing on Brand Tampa?

Networking events, social gatherings (non-business related), profiles on interesting local people and local news from a different perspective.
