Just met with Amanda today. I may be able to offer Gallery 209 here at WTCA. It is climate controlled.
To develop, nurture, coordinate and promote performing and visual arts in Hillsborough County, and to contract for artistic services all for the enjoyment, education, cultural enrichment and benefit of the citizens of Hillsborough County.

- How long have you lived here?
- A long time
- What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?
- I live in a "country" looking area near lakes. At the time I chose the area I was into connecting to nature. I actually long to return to more of an urban area as I was used to growing up.
- If you were to move to a different neighborhood, what would it be and why?
- West Tampa. I work here, spend most of my time around here. And I was actually born here. Other than that, I like going to areas where fine art photography in its traditional purity is exhibited, appreciated and actually understood, like Houston, Santa Fe, New Orleans, Spain, Portugal. But I like coming home.
- What is your favorite thing about Tampa?
- I love the Gulf waters that are so near, the palm trees, Cuban sandwiches, Deviled Crabs, all the little markets in West Tampa, Ybor.
- What kinds of things are you involved in?
- Art events, books, music, get togethers with friends

- It has great potential, even with all its little "quirks".
