minus a few detours and extended stays, since 1976

What neighborhood do you live in, why did you choose it and what do you like about it?

Ybor City. There's nothing else like it. Period.

If you were to move to a different neighborhood, what would it be and why?

No Chance.

What is your favorite thing about Tampa?

This is probably too obvious but, I do love this town's history. Just ask me for a walking tour. I dare you.

St. Pete Times' Jeff Klinkenberg at the History Center This Sunday

The 2009 Florida Conversations Lecture Series will continue on Sunday, May 17th from 3:00 until 4:30 pm with featured speaker Jeff Klinkenberg, author of Pilgrim in the Land of Alligators: More Stories about Real Florida.

Klinkenberg is an award-winning journalist with the St. Petersburg Times who writes about Florida nature and culture. He is the first writer-in-residence for the Florida Studies Program at the University of South Florida and is author of Season of Real Florida.
