Saturday, September 20 is our annual open house at the Polk Museum of Art which means that general admission is free and there are a bunch of activities for all ages (all of which are also free!) This year we decided to make the theme the American West because of our current exhibition, Frederic Remington Makes Tracks... There is going to be a bunch of stuff going on including cowboy poetry (I can't say that I know what that means but it does make me curious), Native American arrowhead carving, and enough Old West themed art activities to fill your entire house! It is always one of our most busy and well attended days but also a lot of fun.
We hope to see you there!
