Betsy Goode, known as "The String Diva" will be ROCKING OUT with a 20-piece ensemble at this year's Tampa Bay Businesses for Culture and the Arts (TBBCA) Awards Gala.
Goode is a graduate from the University of South Florida where she studied Cello Performance and is now a worldwide sensation touring from New York to London with her original, electric string rock music.
Betsy Goode, began her music studies at age 2, with the piano and later found her love for the cello at age 6. She has held principle positions and performed with major area orchestras including the Walt Disney World Orchestra and the Opera Tampa Orchestra. She has performed with and recorded for major musical artists including: Rod Stewart, Josh Groban, Sarah Brightman, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Mannheim Steamroller, Yanni, Frank Sinatra Jr., Donna Summer, Jon Secada and many more. She has worked with National Broadway tours including The Lion King, My Fair Lady, Light in the Piazza, Camelot, Annie and more.
